Munisi who was on his way out from the centre with a disabled man he claimed to have helped to go and vote was stopped by various Chadema supporters who were with Lema accusing him of playing foul.
Lema accused police of taking part in a dirty game by allowing Munisi to show up several times unquestioned.
“What is wrong if I help out a relative to come and vote?
There is no need for accusing each other for obvious things like this,” pleaded Munisi.
After the two had traded words for a while, the Arusha Regional Police Commander, Gilles Muroto asked them to leave the area as they were causing chaos and panic among voters.
